On August 14, several Peruvian photographers were awarded by the Ministry of Culture as Personality Meritoria of Culture. Martin Chambi
(Posthumous recognition), Javier Silva, Mayu Mohanna, Oscar Medrano, the Baldomero Alejos Cultural Association and the Center for Regional Studies
Andean Bartolome de las Casas were the honorees.
It was a lovely time. Not only for the honor and pride to receive this distinction, but because we could share time and friendship with other photographers.
On Friday morning own several of the photographers took a walk around the Plaza de Cuzco and its beautiful streets. We never cease to marvel at its beauty.
In the evening was the award. As its headquarters the Palacio Municipal de Cusco, a beautiful and moving ceremony was held. Each of the photographers received a medal and a diploma from the hands of officials of the Ministry of Culture, in front of an auditorium full. After receiving our respective awards, we shared between us and taking pictures of rigor. It was a time of fellowship and joy.
At the end of it all, we get together to celebrate. For art and photography of our country!
